Family Mentors (Small Steps at Home)
Our Family Mentors deliver a service called Small Steps at Home.
You can sign up for Small Steps at Home and get a Family Mentor if you live in an SSBC ward:
- Aspley
- Bulwell
- Hyson Green & Arboretum
- St Anns
If your child is under 3 months, you can apply online. Complete this short form and a member of your local Family Mentor team will get in touch.
You can call your local Family Mentor team 9am-4.30pm weekdays. The team is out and about in the community so may not always be able to answer calls. Leave a message and someone will call you back.

SSBC Groups
Our Family Mentors run groups for 0-4s. Visit our activities page to find out about groups in your area.
We also share news about groups on our Facebook page.
We prioritise our groups for families who live in SSBC areas:

Your personal information
If you have a Family Mentor, you can make them aware of your new address. However, when you update your new address with your GP practice, your Family Mentor will also receive your new address.
