Room to Play

Are you looking for somewhere fun to take your 0-4-year-old in Bulwell? Pop in and see us at Room to Play!

Room to Play is a new SSBC hub in Bulwell town centre that offers a safe and friendly place for your little ones to learn and play. 


It is run by the friendly SSBC Bulwell Family Mentor team, who are on hand six days a week to provide advice, support, or even just a chat.
Room to Play also hosts groups, such as Baby Play and Story & Rhyme Time, along with special events and activities. 

Outside of groups, Room to Play operates on a drop-in basis.Unless you're attending a group, there's no need to contact us before you visit.

What's inside

Room to Play is a 'home from home'. It's a warm, safe and cosy place with lots of fun things to do! Inside you will find:

  • Toys, books and creative activities 
  • Toilet and baby changing facilities
  • Other local parents and caregivers
  • Information about SSBC and other services
  • A friendly team of Family Mentors
