LGA Case Study: SSBC Family Mentors – recruitment of an innovative paid peer workforce in Nottingham

SSBC Family Mentors are a trained paid peer workforce working in four ethnically diverse wards in Nottingham.  Launched in 2015, this unique workforce were recruited with an emphasis on their lived experience, willingness to train and learn, their values and their passion for empowering families to support babies and young children to have the best start in life.
