SSBC Breastfeeding Voucher Scheme Evaluation

SSBC commissioned a breastfeeding voucher pilot for the Nottingham Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) service with a view to improve breastfeeding rates and build the evidence around breastfeeding incentives.

The Nottingham pilot suggests that financial incentives delivered in a FNP setting may improve breastfeeding rates in young first-time mothers.
