What can be accessed?

SSBC have the following unlimited e-learning licenses available:

  • Nutrition birth to four
  • Oral Health
  • Child Development 0-12 months
  • Child Development 1-3 years
  • Think Dads training


The following courses have limited licences but can also be accessed:

  • Attachment Theory
  • Confidentiality in the workplace
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for Employers 
  • Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) - recognising and preventing FGM
  • Fire Safety
  • Inclusive Behaviour and unconscious Bias
  • Information Sharing
  • Introduction to Listening Skills
  • LGBTQ+ awareness 
  • Positive Attitudes and Behaviours
  • Safer Sleeping for babies
  • The Essentials of Data Protection

Who can access it? 

The e-learning licenses are for anyone in the children, young people, and family workforce.

How to access the Virtual College?

First-time users will need to complete a registration form. Once signed in the password can be changed to something more memorable. 

To access courses, click on ‘Learning’ then ‘Available Learning’. This will provide the catalogue of available courses.
